AI challenge — 2024
In the framework of the International scientific conference “Information Technology – New Horizons” organized by the EPAM School of Digital Technologies we conduct three-hour mini-hackathon “AI Challenge – 2024”.
It focuses on harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) to address complex problem-solving challenges. Participants will form teams and tackle a task unveiled during an engaging 30-minute opening lecture.
The AI-challenge invites students from diverse fields, not just computer science, to collaborate in teams and use large language models (LLMs) to solve real-life challenges, where a key skill is prompt engineering, though not limited to it.
Teams will present a prototype and share their experiences of working with AI. The best teams will be recognized and rewarded. The event’s core goal is to explore how students and AI can collaborate effectively to tackle real-world problems.
— Where: Campus of the American University Kyiv (Poshtova pl., 3)
— When: 22 October 2024 17:00 – 20:00
— Who can take part: students at all Ukrainian universities
Registration is available till 18th October 2024 but the number of places is restricted. Registration for the participation in AI Challenge will be stopped when all places are filled in.
